Your gift to TEFFLA is important. TEFFLA was developed as a nonprofit organization for charitable and educational purposes. The Foundation’s endowment fund will enhance the Forest Lake Area Schools’ community by:

How to Give

Annual Giving: Gift from checking or savings
Support The Educational Foundation of the Forest Lake Area with an annual contribution. Your support can be used to fund grants. Are there causes you feel passionate about? You can also consider setting up an endowment or a long term legacy gift.

Planned Giving: Gift from assets or estate
There are several ways planned giving will benefit TEFFLA. Types of planned gifts include:
Bequests: gift to charity through a will or trust
Beneficiary designation: transfer directly to TEFFLA as a designated entity
Life insurance: name TEFFLA as a beneficiary or partial beneficiary of the policy, or transfer ownership of the policy to TEFFLA
Life income gifts: charitable gift annuity or charitable remainder trust
Charitable Gift Annuity: gifts that give back to the donor
Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD): a direct transfer of funds from an IRA to a qualified charity. This transfer is not taxable and can count toward the Required Minimum Distribution (RMD)
